Spring water

Hey you  probably think that spring water is from the season spring and its water
well guess what you guessed wrong spring water comes in a bottle like this

Here is a little bit of writing from google about spring water and what it is
The resultant product, “purified” water, is of significantly higher purity than either spring water, tap water or filtered water. Purified water may originate from either a spring or surface or groundwater source or directly from the tap.

Axolotl Facts ( Axe-el-lot-el )
Axolotl is a type of amphibian that represents unmetamorphosed larvae of the Mexican salamander. It is endemic species for the lake Xochimilco, near the Mexico City. That means that it can be found only there and nowhere else. Unlike other amphibians, axolotl spends its entire life in the water. Main threat to the survival of the airport xolotl is introduction of the new, aggressive fish species into the lake, draining and pollution of the water, pet trade and overfishing. Besides that, axolotl is served as delicacy in certain Mexican restaurants. This unique-looking animal is listed as critical endangered.

Interesting Axolotl Facts:
Axolotl can reach the size of up to 12 inches in the length and the weight of up to 8 pounds. Gender identification can be performed only by expert, because males and females look similar.
Color of axolotl's body can be black, mottled brown, albino (without any pigment) or white.
Unique feature of the axolotl to retain larval characteristics in the adult stage is phenomenon called neoteny.
Axolotl looks like a tadpole with limbs, dorsal fin and a pair of external gills. Axolotl does not have eyelids.
Like most aquatic animals, axolotl breathes by using the gills. Besides gills, axolotl can breathe via skin, thanks to dense network of capillaries.
Gills are also used as excretory organ. Axolotl eliminates part of metabolic products through urine and other parts via gills.
Skeleton is made of cartilage just like in cartilaginous fish. Also, axolotl has the same type of muscles like this group of fish.
Axolotl is a carnivore (meat-eating animal). It likes to eat mollusks, crustaceans, small fish and insect larvae. Axolotl sometimes eats other axolotls when they are small in size.
Axolotl has unique capability to regenerate (re-create) different parts of its body in the case they are lost or damaged. Axolotl can regenerate missing limbs, kidney, heart and lungs.
Because of its incredible power of regeneration, axolotl is one of the most examined types of salamander in the world.
Mating season of axolotls takes place during the spring. Mating season is determined by the length of the day and by the temperature of the water.
Female releases 300 to 1100 eggs per mating season. Eggs are gelatinous and can be easily glued for the ground (or the tank, when axolotls reproduce in captivity)
Newly born axolotl has external gills, tail and two projections on both sides of the head that are used for attaching to the substrate. As axolotl grows, gills are becoming larger and its limbs develop.
Axolotl reaches sexual maturity at the age of 12 months.
When axolotl is kept under right conditions and provided with
adequate diet, it may survive up to 15 years in captivity. Axolotls in the wild live between 10 and 12 years.

Facts about matariki

However, not all iwi  celebrate at the same time. Some may begin festivities on the first full moon Portal:Star/Selected article - Wikipedia
after the star cluster rises, or on the next new moon.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A cluster is a group of stars that are near each other in space. When seen from Earth, the stars in a constellation appear to be close together in a pattern, but they might actually be far from each other. There are about 500 stars in the Matariki cluster, but only six or seven are visible without a telescope.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From early June, before sunrise, look to the north-east horizon. Find the constellation Tautoru, or Orion’s belt (sometimes called ‘the pot’). Trace a line northwards from the three stars of Tautoru. Look for a faint sparkle of tiny dots, about the same width as Tautoru is long. This is the Matariki star cluster. Matatiki can also be seen during the summer months in this location of the sky after sunset.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Compared with other star clusters, Matariki is close to Earth – but it’s still 440 light years away. If you drove there in a car at a speed of 100 kilometres an hour, you would arrive in 4.8 billion years!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The star cluster is visible to the naked eye from most parts of our planet, and has many different names. In English, it is called the Pleiades (its ancient Greek name) or the Seven Sisters. The Hawaiian name is Makali‘i, or ‘eyes of royalty’, and in Japan it is Subaru, meaning ‘gathered together’.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Matariki’s  reappearance in the north-east sky is not visible in all parts of New Zealand, especially in areas to the west of mountains. For some iwi in Taranaki and Whanganui, and on the West Coast of the South Island, the new year begins with the rising of Puanga.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The brighter and clearer the stars seemed, the warmer the growing season would be, ensuring a good harvest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mother is Matariki, and her daughters are Tupu-ā-nuku, Tupu-ā-rangi, Waipunarangi, Waitī, Waitā, and Ururangi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One Matariki story is about when TāwhirimāteaTāwhirimāteagod of the wind discovered that his parents, RanginuiRanginuithe sky father and PapatūānukuPapatūānukuthe earth mother, had been separated. He tore out his eyes in anger and threw them into the sky – the stars are his seven eyes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tohunga kōkōrangiTohunga kōkōrangiexpert astronomers used stars and star clusters such as Matariki to help them navigate great distances across the Pacific. Today, there is a revival of these  traditional navigation skills. Crews have sailed double-hulled waka from as far as Rarotonga to Aotearoa New Zealand, guided only by traditional methods.

Taniwha story

A woosh of wind hits my face. The sound of a giggle hits my ear. The grass shivers in a path between people. I wonder if it's just kids giggling and there's a bit of a breeze in the air. We get called into the marae I hear someone singing.
"I'm going to pull some pranks, I'm going to pull some pranks, I'm going to pull some pranks, I'm going to pull some pranks hehehehehehehe"
When we get in the marae I felt my hair being fiddled with. When I look back my hair is plaited. It was in a ponytail
I said to Raedence, Phoenix, Anna raua Cassia,
"Did you notice that my hair has changed? I think that someone messing with the wrong person."
We seat ourselves under the shelter people are talking at the front of the shelter, people that want to have a hongi with the people the belonged to the marae. As the students\teacher walk to have a hongi they will get to their head nice and gently. Then they will get called to explore around the marae some kids went over to a big huge tree. Some kids thought that there was a bird in the tree in the hole so they stuck their hand in the hole and got pricked.
The kids went the wharekai and then suddenly the food disappeared in a blink of a eye. We had to get all our stuff together and go to school.
As I walked on the bus I heard a voice in my head, "all the stuff that happened is the taniwha messing it all up"
We had a long drive back to school. As we left the marae I saw the taniwha for some reason. It's probably because I know what he has done.
